Create a desktop shortcut to the SmartMLS website

 

*** These instructions are designed to work with the major web browsers (Chrome, Edge and Firefox). Once created, the shortcut will automatically open in your PC's default browser (regardless of the browser you used to create the shortcut). ***

 

Navigate to the SmartMLS website (www.smartmls.com). Once the page has loaded, go up into the address bar and highlight the entire URL that is in the bar (clicking on the address once should highlight it):

Once it's highlighted, right click on the blue text and select Copy (or hit Ctrl+C on your keyboard).

Go to your PC's desktop, place your mouse cursor in an empty area, right-click and go to New> Shortcut:

When the next window opens, paste the URL that you copied in the previous step (either by right clicking in the field and selecting Paste or by hitting Ctrl+V on your keyboard) into the empty field, then click Next:

 

 

Now, give the shortcut a name and click Finish:

 

 

This will create an icon on your desktop that will bring you directly to the SmartMLS website through your preferred web browser:
