Shorten the length of a URL

If you have a long or cumbersome URL that you would like to shorten into one that is much more manageable, you can use the free site www.tinyurl.com to get the job done.

Copy and paste the long URL into their widget:

You may also enter a custom alias:

Once you have made your choice, click Make TinyURL!:

It will generate a much more compact URL that can be copied and pasted to your listing, website, Facebook, etc.
